Project Activate

Building a neighborhood where everyone belongs.

Project Activate engages community members in neighborhoods across Lancaster County to generate ideas together and create locally-grown solutions. Last year, we worked in two neighborhoods: SE Lancaster City and Paradise, PA.  You can learn more about the process here. 

What will happen as a result of Project Activate:

The goal of Project Activate is to generate neighborhood-based, actionable solutions that help everyone feel like they belong. Neighbors working together will help other local residents spark, grow, and implement ideas that will improve the lives of people in the neighborhood. After piloting community-generated projects, each neighborhood will receive grant dollars from the Community Foundation to activate the top ideas.
