3) 2015 Annual Gathering
NUMBER 3 in our extraordinary community countdown is the 2015 Annual Gathering! We partnered with The Hotel Lancaster, Two Dudes Painting Company and many others to bring together people from all sectors of our community to share a meal, discuss how we want to help grow the county, and–of course–to paint! Check out all the photos from the event here.
2) The 2015 Social Enterprise Pitch
This collaboration between Assets and the Community Foundation facilitated the creation of 10 business ideas from local thinkers, entrepreneurs, and leaders that were designed to be sustainable, profitable, and address a social need to improve our community. With more than $42,000 raised from 700+ donations during the crowdfunding phase of the competition, the 2015 Great Social Enterprise Pitch brought together hundreds of people from all sectors of the community for the purpose of promoting businesses that operate with a triple bottom line of People, Planet, and Profit, making it the biggest Pitch yet! We can’t wait for next year!
1) The 2015 Extraordinary Give
With 6.1 million dollars raised from more than 20,000+ individual donations and 40,000+ total gifts from all fifty states, the 2015 Extraordinary Give typifies why we’re so consistently so heartened and energized by this community.
