James R. Buescher Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund celebrates the life of James Buescher, an accomplished writer, by providing assistance for students who show a demonstrated love of and interest in pursuing a career relative to creative writing.

James Buescher, who died at the age of 34, was an accomplished writer and was passionate about his community. He was a published novelist, playwright, the author of a Las Vegas travel guide, and the winner of several newspaper writing awards as a correspondent for Lancaster Newspaper, Inc.  This fund celebrates the life of James by providing assistance for students who show a demonstrated love of and interest in pursuing a career related to creative writing, journalism, communications, theater, or anthropology.
