A Vision for Nature — and Our Community 
It began with a bold idea.
What if we could restore a stretch of the Little Conestoga Creek to its natural, wild beauty?
What if we could bring back the wetlands, meadows, and forest that once thrived here?
Then we asked: Why stop there? We found more places ready to be restored upstream and downstream.
What’s emerging is a living corridor for wildlife. A haven for birds and pollinators. A place where native plants take root again and clean water flows freely. But we didn’t want to keep it to ourselves.
So we asked: Could everyone experience this beauty?
We said yes!
Yes — to an accessible trail winding through the community.
Yes — to interactive exhibits and art that turn the trail into a learning laboratory.
Yes — to a research partnership that measures our impact and shares what we’ve learned.
This dream is becoming reality, and the community has come together. More than 50% of the funds needed have been raised so far. You can be part of it. Help us rewild this land. Restore the creek. Inspire wonder.

Partnership with the Community Foundation allows us to offer Charitable Gift Annuities to benefit the Blue Green Connector Fund.
Non-Cash Asset
Donations of stock and retirement funds can be easily made by reaching out to the Finance Team at the Community Foundation.
