What To Expect

Celebrate and Engage: 6:00 – 7:00pm 

Flash Poetry– Turn your emotions or thoughts into an original poem written by local wordsmith and poet, Thunda Khatt. 

Collaborative Art Piece– Add your part to a travelling community art project led by Kearasten Jordan 

Our Common Thread – Create a mini-wearable-collage during this hands-on activity, incorporating the common thread that connects our community.  Activity led by Horst Arts.   

Cacophony Sound Circle – A joyful noise with many dynamics and community drumming.

Shaping Tomorrow Awards

Creative Expression Award: These new grant awards will support projects related to visual arts, performing arts, music, dance, poetry, spoken word, and film that promote diverse voices, cultural understanding, community murals and artistic innovation.

Shaping Tomorrow Scholarships

To celebrate our 100th anniversary, we will catalyze the future of promising scholars who will move Lancaster County forward for the next 100 years. Two scholarships, each worth $2,500, are available to students pursuing an education in the arts.
