Lancaster County Community Foundation Evolves Leadership Structure to Support Continued Growth and Impact
The Lancaster County Community Foundation is evolving its leadership structure to reflect the Foundation’s significant growth in assets, community impact and organizational capacity over the past 15 years.
As the Community Foundation evolves, Sam Bressi will serve as Chief Executive Officer, leading the Foundation’s external relationships, visibility, reputation and enterprise-wide opportunities. Tracy Cutler who has served as Executive Vice President, will become President, expanding her leadership of the Foundation’s mission, strategy, innovation and organizational effectiveness.
“This is a natural evolution for an organization that has grown in both scale and impact,” said Bressi. “We have an exceptionally strong team with tremendous expertise and depth of experience. This leadership structure gives us the capacity to build on that strength—deepening our impact here in Lancaster County while elevating the Foundation’s presence and relationships beyond our community.”
As President, Cutler will lead the Foundation’s strategic direction and day-to-day organizational leadership, with a focus on advancing its mission, responding to emerging community needs and opportunities, and continuing to strengthen the Foundation’s impact.
“This is an exciting moment for the Community Foundation,” said Cutler. “We have built something special over the past 15 years—a strong organization, talented team and deep relationships throughout our community. This evolution allows us to bring even greater leadership capacity to the work ahead. I’m energized by what we can accomplish together and by the opportunity to help shape what’s next for our community.”
Steve Nieli, chair of the Lancaster County Community Foundation Board of Directors, said the evolution reflects both the Foundation’s growth and the strength of its leadership.
“Our community is fortunate to have an organization with this level of talent, experience and ambition,” said Nieli. “This structure builds on the Foundation’s strong leadership while creating greater capacity to pursue the opportunities ahead. We are excited about this next chapter.”
For more than 100 years, the Lancaster County Community Foundation has cared for the community’s endowment, working with donors, nonprofits and community partners to strengthen Lancaster County and create a more vibrant future for all.
