“We need widespread access to information about all types of disability/chronic illness as well as implement practices that make our community more accessible for the disabled population. Most people do not understand why it is necessary to have certain accommodations. I believe it would have a huge impact on our community, in a very positive way, to have a greater understanding of the disabled community and to work together to ensure that those who are disabled are being thought of and accommodated throughout the community.”
