About the Organization:
The Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation* ensures that the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center has the materials, the equipment and the funding to provide:
- High School students with world-class hands-on training in technology and the skills to prepare them for gold collar careers and/or post-secondary education
- Adult students with additional training for career advancement, certification, or re-training for transition to new careers
The Foundation also develops innovative programs to fill gaps not funded by traditional CTC revenue sources. These include scholarship programs, a resource center, and other assistance programs that enable students to learn regardless of family circumstances.
* A Pennsylvania-based nonprofit 501 (c) (3) and Educational Improvement Organization.
Why this endowment is important to our mission:
This endowment is important because it provides a permanent source of funding for student financial assistance, so that deserving students can learn regardless of family circumstances. The earnings from this fund will provide scholarship and assistance support every year, helping untold numbers of future graduates step confidently into their chosen careers.
The Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation was established in 2003 to promote, enhance, and endow enriched career and technical education learning opportunities at the LCCTC. This is accomplished through a variety of fundraising programs, contributions, sponsorships, grants, and special events. Most of these provide annual funding to support the students and programs of the school.
